A simpler option is to use NSCA Win32Client found on Nagiosexchange: <http://www.nagiosexchange.org/Communication.41.0.html?&tx_netnagext_pi1[p_view]=141&tx_netnagext_pi1[page]=10%3A10> I used it in the past and it works just as well as the Linux client.
