You are right!!

Really I'm working with groundwork open source, that  comes with nagios 2.5,
I want  to migrate  to another version of groundwork that has the same
nagios 2.5  embeded, because I want to migrate the nagioscomment.log and
trends graphs, I think that this list is the best place to find a solution.

Since you did not even mention the currently running nagios version or the
intended version this is is a mission impossible.
