Hi Matthew Install the freetds package, then use bsqldb to query your SQL2005 from the command line using a bash script. I have this setup under Groundwork Monitor Open Source and it works sensationally. I can query a SQL 2005 database, dump the results to a text file in my htdocs directory then use check_http to do a content check.
