Hey list,
I've been using nagios for about 6 months now, and am very pleased with
my installation. I've been giving a task, and I'm not sure about how to
execute it. I need to make sure that an email goes out every day at 3:00
pm. This email contains a report of all the orders that have come in to
my company during the day. If this email doesn't come out, things get
backed up, and all hell breaks loose. I was thinking about using the
check_smtp plugin, but am not quite sure that is the best course of
action for this. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can monitor
this certain email with Nagios? I am using version 3.0b1 with the 1.4.8
plugins on an Ubuntu 7.04 machine. Thanks in advance or any advice.
