I suspect that changing my nagios.cfg file to following had something to do
with this nagios.cmd file being created?
#check_external_commands=0
check_external_commands=1
Shortly after this (in CentOS), I saw the nagios.cmd file and could then
chown nagios::apache and chmod 660 it, according to the NagiosQL
documentation.
