First, please stop reposting the same message more that one time. I will ignore any new messages from you if you keep doing this. Make sure the notify* commands (usially in misccommands.cfg) set the "From" addresses. The email should be sent with a "From: " header with the email address you want. If using the sendmail command you should also use the "-f" switch to set the envelope address. Email format is quite simple: you have a series of headers, a blank line then the body text. The end result if you run the command by hands without piping it to sendmail should look like this: - --- CUT HERE --- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Alert yadda yadda ydadda Some body text, more details, host/service notes, etc yadda yadda yadda - --- CUT HERE --- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHA7QJ6dZ+Kt5BchYRAkEaAKDyDxijC39VzyY6F2GGPGTv5sIEyQCgtSHj gREnUqNJ7X2DMRV+kO3YpVw= =PfLq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
