Hey list,
I'm trying to get NDOUtils up and running so that I can start to use
NagVis at my location.
I'm having problems getting it to work, however. I have the database set
up, the user created for it's use, and ndo2db.cfg configure how I need
it. I was initially going to use a unix socket to do this, however when
I went to start the daemon I got an error stating that the address was
already in use.
I thought "well, no big deal" and changed things to use the tcp socket
type, leaving all the other config parameters alone. Yet again, it still
is telling me socket is already in use when I go to fire everything up.
I've read the documentation for NDOUtils enough this morning to make my
eyes bleed, but I am still not able to see where I am messing up.
Specs:
Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn
Nagios 3.0b1
Plugins 1.4.8
Mysql 5
Latest stable version of NagVis (unsure of the exact number right now!)
