I want my final failed services to be rechecked faster that my normal checks. I want this so I will be notified quicker when the service is successful again. (I already use retry_check_interval with max_check_attempts, but I want an interval when the service is in HARD state.)
So I googled "hard_check_interval" and I saw that keyword was mentioned before. This mail from 2003 nagios-devel archive describes it: http://ml.osdir.com/network.nagios.devel/2003-06/msg00064.html Does anything like this exist but maybe with a different configuration name? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: The Future of Linux Business White Paper from Novell.
