Hello all, I'm brand new to Nagios, but I'm an experienced Linux user. That's why I
will not bother you with trivial questions. Not now, though ;-) As far as I know, Nagios can be used to raise alerts when some plugins (like check_load) find something wrong. I didn't see anything to make the scripts write useful informations into script/computer readable files. My goal is to manage several servers and get some statistics about some basic variables such as CPU load, network usage or memory consumption. In details, I will proceed to some benchmarking of a server farm holding some web services. So I want to be aware of what is happening and how was the server before. Plus, this takes place on several Macintosh. They don't carry the /proc directory... -- Christophe HENRY ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
