Hi All! I have a couple of services that I have defined for all hosts with "host_name *". However, there are a couple of hosts which have different notification periods. So, I was wondering if there was anyway of defining exceptions. I see that in Nagios 3 you can assign a hostgroup_name to a service. This would definitely save a lot of work, but the case where we have 100 nodes and only two exceptions, it still seems to be a fair bit of work. So I would still like to be able to define exceptions. Is that possible? Any info is appreciated.
