Can anybody point me to a "decent" howto or some example on how to setup
and use check_apc_ups.pl plugin for APC UPSs?
Or options to monitor APCs and Triplite UPSs if you have found any
that's worth checking.
Any help is appreciated.

Ennis,
We use the check_snmp plugin with the OID's for battery capacity, load
and uptime. The following is an example:
define service{
use generic-service
host_name Ups
service_description UPS Battery Load
check_command check_snmp!-C public -o
.1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.4.2.3.0 -w 60 -c 90 -l 'Output Load' -u '%'
