Good Day everyone, I have been struggling with a configuration issue. I trying to configure a service to check an samba share. I am using the check_disk_smb plug-in, I have several shares and I have been able to successfully configure all but one. The problem is that the password has an "!". When I try the command from the command line it works fine, but not within Nagios, because the ! is a field delimiter within the service configuration. I have tried using $! and putting the password in single and double quotes. I am not able to change the password because the share is used by many manual and automated processes.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
