About the below e-mail I sent on Tuesday; the reports appears to have resolved themselves - all host statuses are now appearing as up from the 28th May onwards - not quite sure why they're showing as undetermined on the 27th because I have the event log covering all of the 27th, although there aren't any "CURRENT HOST STATE" lines in the 27th's log file, but there is in the 28th.
Anyway. It's still not possible for me to view the status of the "Telecity Router 1" or "Telehouse Router 1" hosts, with the same "you are not authorised" message, yet I can read the status perfectly fine in the other CGIs for these hosts. Andy -------- Original Message -------- Subject: All hosts status undetermined in reports Date: Tue, 27 May 2008 22:55:50 +0100 From: Andy Shellam <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net Hi, I've recently set up by Nagios 3.0.2 server as a clean install rather than an upgrade from 2.x. I have active host checks set up as well as service checks. Yet when I report on my hosts, they all come back as "100% Undetermined." What are the possible reasons for this? The services report OK, but host statuses do not. Also, if I try and view a report just for "Telehouse Router 1" or "Telecity Router 1" I get the message "It appears as though you are not authorized to view information for the specified host..." yet I can through all other CGIs. I'm wondering if this is related to my problem earlier with spaces in name definitions? That doesn't, however explain why all hosts are undetermined, as my other hosts are single-word names (e.g. Sydney.)
