Yes, because now you're running check_icmp from the local host, which is
a completely orthogonal issue (and possibly not what you wanted).

There's nothing ambiguous about it. Anyone with basic knowledge of
administering a unixy system knows what it means. The rest show up
here or in some usergroup where they get educated.
