Hi,
Are you sure that:
1) Your host is allowed SNMP access to the router?
2) Your router uses SNMP version 1?
3) Your community string is still public (if it is: change it)?
Can you try a simple snmpwalk to the host?
snmpwalk -v2c -c <your string> 10.1.5.153
snmpwalk -v1 -c <your string> 10.1.5.153
(depending on the version)
If that doesn't work try an NMAP to the SNMP port:
nmap -sU -P0 -p 161 10.1.5.153
