Tjin I've had the same issue a while back , the problem is that the mysql NDO configuration still has the definitions of the old definitions.
what you an try - and it worked for me - is this : Stop mysql . stop nagios . change the configuration to the new one you need . start nagios . Start mysql . this will have ndo read the current config and use that as the base line .
