You probably defined your ping command with the name "CERTIF". Check your NRPE configuration on the other end. Out of curiosity, why would you use NRPE to run a ping check? Are you pinging a 3rd host from the remote (nrpe) host? Otherwise a ping check though nrpe is likely useless... BTW you can also omit the check_nrpe command (-c) if you want to check the nrpe daemon without running any check. - -- Thomas -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIq81l6dZ+Kt5BchYRAkznAJ93MXZIxVqE9Z7PGA1MWdm6qShSeACgqlJ9 O5giMruBpLVanbnZTipMOL0= =fw+I -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Nagios-users mailing list Nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/nagios-users ::: Please include Nagios version, plugin version (-v) and OS when reporting any issue. ::: Messages without supporting info will risk being sent to /dev/null
