Are you trying to send your emails through the exchange server's SMTP service? Or are you trying to get the server running nagios send them directly to their destination? If you're trying to use the Exchange server as a relay, use the SMARTHOST option in Sendmail. However, I think that's overkill for simply relaying. Checkout nullmailer, or ssmtp. Both are small, lightweight smtp services that relay through a server, which in this case would be your exchange server. You just have to be cautious of relying on your Exchange server, as if that goes down, you won't get alerts. -- Jon Angliss ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Nagios-users mailing list Nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/nagios-users ::: Please include Nagios version, plugin version (-v) and OS when reporting any issue. ::: Messages without supporting info will risk being sent to /dev/null
