This is incorrect and un-necessary. I am betting that the e-mail log
you're referencing is a result of this event handler firing.
$CONTACTEMAIL$ isn't a valid macro for eventhandlers
(http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/macrolist.html
). eventhandlers are designed for doing other things like restarting
services and the like. notifications are handled by an entirely
different process (http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/notifications.html
). You should remove these two parameters.
