This will almost certainly depend on the type of router. You should check the MIB for your router. For cisco routers (7600's), I use the following to measure inlet temperatures -- define command { command_name check_temperature command_line $USER1$/check_snmp -H $HOSTADDRESS $ -u 'Degrees Celsius' -o .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.2 -C $USER3$ -w 37:32 -c 99:38 -l 'Temperature is' } define command { command_name check_temperature_npe-g1 command_line $USER1$/check_snmp -H $HOSTADDRESS $ -u 'Degrees Celsius' -o .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.1 -C $USER3$ -w 37:32 -c 99:38 -l 'Temperature is' } -- Marc ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Nagios-users mailing list Nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/nagios-users ::: Please include Nagios version, plugin version (-v) and OS when reporting any issue. ::: Messages without supporting info will risk being sent to /dev/null
