We only use the 24x7 timeperiod for host checks. Service checks don't run between 00:00 and 04:00 (this is our backup window and we noticed some checks give false warnings and critical because of running backup jobs). So theoretically all our services could possibly be affected by this problem, there is no way of telling which services are infected and which are not.

We are experiencing this same problem, I notified nagios development group and they are probably still looking for a solution. Did you see if the problem occurs for services with different timeperiods(!=24x7)? Can you send me directly your service/timeperiod configuration? Let's wait for a Nagios Devel return for a while. On the below link you can find a problem description and a workaround that, according Nagios Devel List, doesn't work; http://article.gmane.org/gmane.network.nagios.devel/5554/match=next+year -rm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Nagios-users mailing list Nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/nagios-users ::: Please include Nagios version, plugin version (-v) and OS when reporting any issue. ::: Messages without supporting info will risk being sent to /dev/null
