Hi,

I'm trying to configure the ndoutils plugin to store event info on a myslq database. I compiled it OK and the ndo2db process starts OK, but when I start nagios it prints this:

[1238492025] Nagios 3.0.6 starting... (PID=7847)
[1238492025] Local time is Tue Mar 31 11:33:45 CEST 2009
[1238492025] LOG VERSION: 2.0
[1238492025] ndomod: NDOMOD 1.4b7 (10-31-2007) Copyright (c) 2005-2007 Ethan Galstad (nag...@nagios.org)
[1238492025] ndomod: Could not open data sink!  I'll keep trying, but some output may get lost...
[1238492025] Event broker module '/home/monitor1/ndoutils/ndoutils-1.4b7/src/ndomod-3x.o' initialized successfully.
[1238492025] Finished daemonizing... (New PID=7848)

I tried switching the ndomod and ndo2db communication between unix_socket to tcp and, althought the ndo2db starts ok, nagios always prints the lines below, and no connection between ndomod and ndo2db is made. My nagios installation is made by a nonroot user, so that every file goes below the /home/user directory. I think nagios is not finding the ndomod.cfg file because I dont see any SYN packet when the tcp configuration is active. Can anybody guess what the problem is or how could I pass the ndomod.cfg file to nagios? (By the way I've tried with the nagios cfg_dir option with no luck)

best regards.
