This might not be possible, since I can't seem to find any details in the documentation.
I am trying to redefine a service on a host which is already defined through use of service groups and host groups. Example. All services on all hosts are defined identically through the use of groups. 1 server on 1 host is required to have custom changes (in this case, a different max_check_attempts). If I try to define this service individually, nagios complains it is already defined through the use of groups. So quite simply - is there any way I can redefine the service, overriding the other definition. Or alternatively is there any other way I can achieve my objective? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
