If you have Solaris installed and prtpicl gives reasonable output you can use the check_sun_hardware plugin from monitoringexchange: http://www.monitoringexchange.org/cgi-bin/page.cgi?g=Detailed%2F3189.html;d=1 I have slightly modified the original check to run on other hardware as well, so it might run on yours.
