Looks like a nice idea but doesn't work on Nagios 3.2

I am monitoring a server that runs windows update and reboots every week
on Saturday at the same time. Is there any way to schedule this
downtime without having to go enter it every week manually?

You will find a few utilities to try at
http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Addons/Scheduled-Downtime

I use the one from Steve Shipway. I like it because it gives you a
web interface to add and remove scheduled entries so once it's set up
you don't need to mess around editing text files.
