Oh, so very much *THIS*. We had a major outage at our co-location facility, which caused my phone to go crazy with all the alerts. It took me way too long to acknowledge all the hosts and services to keep my phone quiet. I considered just disabling notifications all together, but there's more that gets monitored than just that one facility, so that wasn't really an option.
