Looked but didn't see anything 'interesting' but the defaults for logging look to be ***everything*** and going to syslog also. I started tuning it down a bit but "reload" doesn't work :-) so I'll have to kill -15 the pid to get the logging down to where I can see anything. I also need to look at the init script a little closer to see if there was some change during the upgrade (3.0.6 - 3.2.1) that I'm not seeing. Thanks to all for your suggestions. I got pulled sideways (right after posting) so have to get back to it again. I was hoping this was a problem that others had seen (I've only been on the list about a year). Looks like it's a dig-deeper thing.
