Nagios core doesn't care one whit about ip addresses. Handling DNS
lookups and ipv6 addresses is a job for the various plugins. The
nagios-plugins project has had ipv6 support for some time. For other
plugins you'll have to see for yourself and either write patches or
contact the original author for help if you want ipv6 support.
