Hi,

My nagios installation (with NPCD) is running for about 30 hosts & +-
320 service checks. all works fine except the fact that it consumes a
huge amount of memory, in 4 days it reaches 4GB and keeps increasing.

Anyone an idea how to troubleshoot what's going wrong? What
check/process/... is running away with memory or the memory isn't
realeased ? (I've disabled the process_perfdata & shut down the npcd,
but didn't change anything)

Yes I've got custom checks running (mainly SSH tunnels) but as far as I
can see, they don't cause the issue.

Virtual system, latest version of nagios & nagios plugins on centos 5.7
