Sorry, I'm new to mailx and should have checked to the man page more thoroughly. I was trying to find the command to compose a new message from the '&' prompt and thought type might be it, which is obviously not the case. Is there a command that can be entered at the '&' prompt to compose a new message? Or, do you have to exit mailx and start over?
