I will be calling customer service for BOTH the #4 gel brush AND the striper
brush in cleaner (that's the best of the best ideas!). I am on the verge of
going back to T3 Gel. My CND products just keep going up in price (everything
has, I know) but they started out pricey.....especially the replacement bulbs
for the light. Maybe I'll order another tub of pink and give T3 another go.
Thanks for the information, Elaine, if your #4 gel brush is what I'm looking
for (and it sounds like it is) you are my hero!

[Now.....if you can direct me to a gel that has the appearance of being a
natural colored nail...NOT WHITE, I'll be forever in your debt!] I have a neat
little collection of natural white gels I have wasted my $ on, which actually
appear to be regular ole white gel thinned out so that when applied it appears
see-through and doesn't cover. I field-tested a natural white gel polish for
Brisa which was perfect . A pool of it next to a pool of white appeared to have
a muted pink cast. My clients LOVED it as did I. CND chose a watered down
white to market.....I don't get it. Sorry for the rant.

BTW, the information you have given people is what we/they have asked for. Just
because you work for a manufacturer doesn't preclude you from entering the
conversation with your knowledge. I actually think it's a good idea that
representatives be active here. And I know others have. If anyone here is
offended by whatever, the power of the "delete" button is close at hand!

To all the thank you's ....YOU are so Welcome!  I really could have hit you all
with lots of emails with thank you's but I am sure you'd be like...OH god
another one!  Also on the Cuccio products I'll mention the need for the finer
salts in the other two flavors and the bump in fragrance.

MARSHA...I actually added this brush to the Star Nail Line.  It has a black
handle.  It's is called the #4 Oval Gel Brush.  It is Nylon.  The hairs are so
soft you don't get that snow plow effect of scraping gel off the nail.  It just
glides on smooth.  I can use it with one of the Dark Gel colors from the Runway
collection and get a Polish Perfect application.  I had a gel brush from Japan
that was the inspiration for the #4.  The best part and true to Star Nail...it
doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I just called Cindy in Customer Service the
brush is $5.75.  We also just added a brand new Striping Brush in a Cleaner.
It's like a Polish bottle full of gel Cleaner.  The striper (nylon, long and
pointed) is to drag color gel designs.  You just put the brush back in the
bottle and it removes the gel from the hairs.  Not sure of the cost and
number.  It's here it is just brand new.  Customer Service will know.  "Striper
Brush with Cleaner"

I'm glad you are all finding this useful information and not some sales pitch.
I do hesitate to answer a lot of the posts on here because I know it can be
perceived as pushing our company.  It is the only downside of going full time
for the company.

:) Elaine

"Next, use a brush that is nylon and rounded (not square across the top).  A
good soft Nylon brush with a rounded shape will make life so much easier around
the skin."

I used T3 Fibergel in my early years with gel......and I use it now on
occasion. My question, Elaine, is......where do you get a brush like you have
described? I bought what was called a cat's tongue brush about 6 years ago and
I haven't been able to replace it. I think it was from Light Elegance but they
don't have them on their website. What I love about the cat's tongue brush is
that the bristles are long and flexible....not stiff like most gel brushes are.
Also the brush is pretty much a standard width but thinner in depth of bristles
which contributes to it's flexiblity. TIA!
