Hi to my peeps, I wanted to share with yall a wonderful experience I had post -IKE. On Tue, I had to meet my client Nancy at my salon/building which is still w/o power. The management would not let anyone in. So my client said lets go to my house I have some stuff. I'm thinking well, I will use her stuff to do her nails and be on my way. I went to her house and she pulled out all things nail related and gave them to me to use. Then insisted we go to the local beauty supply and purchase what I needed at HER COST so I could do clients until the pwr came back on!! $65 later she tells me she lined up 5 manicures for me to do that afternoon! All in the same place AND paid me cash on the spot + a huge tip of $50!! I was speechless.
3 weeks ago Nancy pre-paid her mani/pedi"s till the end of the year( over $600.) so she has helped plenty all ready yeh. Latter that day I met her at this antique pavilion place and set up shop. (She is an interior designer) I did all 5 manis and managed to pk up 2 more. The next day I actually got to go in and pick up my supplies..and boy did I. I started the house calls on Thur. I did 4 house calls and 3 of my clients arranged for me to do a neighbor/new client (on there own) while I was in their building. It feels so good to know that the majority of my clients were worried more about me and my new business than I was. I honestly believe in Karma yall. You get what you give. An after thought... I want to share with the new techs why I believe my clients take care of me and *give me mad respect.* The formula: Love what you do, do it the best you can. Walk a tight rope of professionalism and settle for nothing less from your clients. For the newbies *I follow the **10 Commandments For Nail Techs* to the *T* and *I do not run behind on my schedule!!!!!!!!!!!!! * *Also there is The 10 Commandments For Clients* *C*an someone post these ? thanks* * ** *and noooo they are not posted on my salon wall lolololol* ** Just wanted to share my good feelings with yall.
