He goes to his first doc appt and his inision (basically like a lapband on his stomach to keep the acid reflux from eroding his esophus any more) has broken and his stomach is now in his diaphram and has caused his paraesophageal hernia to get about 4inches now. The docs are going to basically cut him from belly button up his chest about 6inches. To repair and explore.
