Hi all,
Just opened my own little nail care shop in June  this year and I work
alone.  I know this subject has been discussed before, but the only attachments
I found while checking back on this board, I cannot open.   Due to the news of
possible outpatient surgery soon,  I am considering booth rental or commission
in efforts to keep my salon open.  Can anyone send me  examples or ideas of
your contracts, etc please?   Also, will the contracts be different if I decide
hire/rent to a LMT or Hairstylist rather just Nail Technicians.  I had
licensed my salon as a full service with future plans of bringing more services
in.  I just didn't expect to have to do it this soon. Diana B. gave me
permission to ask those of who she sent a copy of her contract to forward it to
me.  Her computer is down at his time.

One more question,...I need advice on approaching the Cosmo Schools mainly for
Nail Technicians.  I have a small room in the back that I"m using for storage
to rent out for a least 3 people.  I'm very picky with sanitation and at this
time, I do not want anyone using my area when I'm not there...unless I know of
their practices.

I am the only IPA member &  Certified Master Pedicurist in town who has quite a
few diabetic clients.  I use mostly disposable supplies and an autoclave and
this is why I have repeat customers and a  few referrals from the diabetic
center from a local hospital.

Since booth renters have their own rights, I cannot expect someone to share my
same healthy and sanitation practices....unless I'm blessed with a newbie who
is open to being trained to do so and works on commission.  Otherwise,  I have
to find someone to refer them too unless they can wait a month or so until I
get back.

Sorry for being so long.  My med situation was not expected and I'm really
worried about how to take care of my clients when I'm not there at all, but
will be eventually part-time. The one thing I do plan to do is send out a
newsletter to them know of my absence and will hopefully have someone in my
place to refer them too.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.  I may be over-reacting since I have
other things affecting my emotions. You're welcome to email me privately,
especially if you are sending attachments.  I don't want to over load the
board.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Sincerely,
Ida-Tx     Email:  [EMAIL PROTECTED]
