Hi Peeps, All the talk about the economy has got me *super charged to create new business*! Since I specialize in pedicures, I realized that *I was missing a very important referral!! Athletic Shoe Store!!!!*
I found the business I wanted to be associated with and just started asking my runners if they shopped there. YEAH many of them do!!! So I added a new section called PROPER SHOE FIT<http://www.medinailtech.com/ProperShoeFit.html>to my site and hi-lighted FINISH STRONG SPORTS (small biz owned by a minority.......important to promote in my opinion) *as my official referral for a Proper Fit!* (sly huh) Loading up my list of names to be dropped and my new link on my site I wrote the owner, asking for the world!!!! (if anyone wants to see my letter they are very welcome, and I also welcome critique on the spelling or formatting on website...I suck at that)) I explained to him who I was, included my Press Release, showed his link and offered to hi-lite him in my news letter, ect... Also I explained that we could do a cross referral that would be very inexpensive like...every time a client buys a certain shoes...he would give them a coupon for $10 off a "POST MARATHON PEDICURE" especially since that's coming in Jan! (trying to drum up business for after the holidays secures your business a little more!) When a client gets a Sports pedi or whatever I would give them a coupon for a discount on a pair of shoes! When I have my 2nd client appreciation party in Feb. I hope to have him there with some of his product and do Proper Fittings and free give aways! This is also when all at least 2 of Podiatrist will be there doing mini exams! It was a smash hit last year with 85 people. This year Im pulling a Tabatha move by walking the streets with advertisements about my party! I have not heard from him, but as soon as I do, no matter his decision, I will share with you. Never know if you don't try right? Besides, maybe one of you will be able to identify where I could improve on my next attempt!! Anyway I expect great thangs to happen! My brain churns out the ideas. Many fall by the way side because I don't have "stick to it'ness...Some just don't work out.....and then some are a hit! No idea is stupid..........*whats stupid is not acting on your ideas*.
