Does anyone know how much the luraco costs? I checked out their site and they
also have a chem stop air purifier. Does anyone know how much that costs and
if it works well for odor?

Pati,
They will send you a replacement if you pay for shipping. I just called last
week and mine is on its way for $5.50 for shipping. I asked for another filter
and shipping was the same (I just paid the $5.50 and the cost of the filter).
Give them a call. She was very nice.

Amy,
I have a WTAC for my own table and I love it...have had it for years!  I did
buy a luraco when I was at the salon...and it did work well..in ways better
than the WTAC.  I hardly had any dust on the table when I use the luraco. They
both are a little noisy...but i would say quieter than a blow dryer....you can
still talk fine with the clients etc....MHO is it is worth the little noise for
the amount of dust that it sucks up.  It is however...fragile.  When i got
sick...and wasn't in the salon for a long time it got broken...the clasp on the
plastic lid broke.  I am guessing someone picked it up to clean the floor and
whatever ...it happened...Someone on the list said they would sell/send me a
replacement part if I call the company..i just haven't yet.....

I know I hardly ever post here anymore, but I do read -- I guess I am
mostly a lurker now. Life has gotten in the way.

Anyway, I am asking for a dust extractor from Santa this year, and I was
wondering if anyone had opinions on them. I am mostly looking at the
Sunflower, which seems kind of cool, but I am wondering if it really
works with acrylic dust, as I don't do gels anymore? I have also looked
at the Luraco, but I have heard it is kind of noisy?

Would love to hear from those who have either one. Thanks :)
(P.S. I did see the thread a while back, but was wondering if anyone new
had gotten either one since then)
