Kathryn, I am so sorry you are having these issues, I have been there. I was 257 lbs. had really bad back issues, did hair for a very short time, found nails and never looked back. The weight was really a huge issue for me, I know what you mean by how they look at you, and how it hinders your work. I ended up getting gastric bypass and it has saved my life, my job and my self esteem and most of all my back. I used to go to the chiropractor on a regular basis, twice a week for 3 years, then it tapered off a bit, then with flare ups 3 times a week. Now I literally have gone maybe once or twice a year. The reaching alone while doing a pedicure is such a big difference, because I am not reaching over myself to get to what I need to do. My back used to kill me doing pedi's and now, nothing. So I wish you the best of luck, hope you are able to get some relief, take care of you first. The right place for employment will come along, there is something great out there in store for you, don't give up on yourself and never loose your dreams, you will get there. Shannon
