                Hi Gang

Something I tried turned out really cute—I bought inexpensive cotton fabrics
in green and red floral motifs (sort of holiday-ish, but shouldn’t offend
anyone!) I have a local artist who makes fabric items that I sell in the
salon and in exchange for a pedicure, she made me 24 little booties…about 6
inches wide by about 9-10 inches long, with a ribbon loop on the back edge of
the top. I had her put a piece of cardboard inside the “leg” and a little
cotton batting in the toes and I can slip my Gift Certificates right down in
them.

They’re so stinkin’ cute…and ready for my clients who purchase them to hang
right on the tree!

This lady makes really cute things that are selling well…dog and cat
dresses/hats/collar bow ties, stem glass coasters that fit over the bottom of a
wine stem glass, casserole cozies (casserole dish and lid included) and
eyeglass keepers. Her workmanship is fabulous, and she can tackle anything.

Maybe you have some sewing skills yourself? Or know someone?

  Hope this inspires you!
