They are a heat applied "sticker". They come in different sizes, like nail tips, on a plastic sheet. You heat them up, peel them off and apply them to the nail, stretching to fit with heat. File off the excess and they last 2 to 3 weeks with no chips or cracks. They have a "foil" look to them that polish cannot match. They are instant dry and can be used on toes too. The founder of the company came from the auto customizing industry so I think that the "stickers" are similar to car decals. They are for the "look" and I wore them to Vegas in June over my natural nails and I did not have one chip or crack.
