Thanks Dawn and Marsha,

I am south of St. Louis. When the weather started getting cooler is when I
started noticing the cracking. It's not every nail or every client. Maybe 3
clients so far has came in and her nail will be cracked all the way across the
nail. Not at the free edge, behind it. The beginning of the stress area I
guess. So bad that her real nail is cracked so bad it will burn when you use
polish remover. I guess everyone is in a rush this time of year and with cold
hands they can only take so much abuse. I have had more trouble with sculptured
nails breaking off with this product also. I didn't have much of a lifting
issue with CND except for a couple of ladies and that has been a lot better
using Entity. It just doesn't lift. I love that about it and the color is
better too. I did go to a class on Entity before I started using it, I actually
work with a girl who use to work for Entity. I will talk to her about it also.

You know I just had a thought. Since Entity is so easy to file maybe I am over
filing and leaving my stress area to thin. When you guys say make your stress
area thicker, I thought well I don't want it thicker then when I used CND or I
might as well go back to it and have thinner nails. Hmmm..... I am a creature
of habit and I go through the same routine that I have been doing for 20 yrs.
Sometimes I have to really work at paying attention anymore. I know that sounds
bad but I do think that is how it is. The more I think of it, I think I am
filing them thinner then I use to. Thanks so much for your help.

Angie,
I switched from CND and  have been using Entity for at least 4 years now. I
hardly ever see cracks and breaks. I also think it holds its color better than
CND even with the polish wearers. Maybe you need a little more thickness in
your stress area. Have you had a class or demo in Entity? Where are you that
you may have someone in you area be able to help.  As for strength it has
always been great  I live in PA. and we get some nasty winter weather. I think
it is better than CND during winter also.  Never had it frost and file off like
some others brands have.
I would never mix product though. I know sometimes it seems a waste but you
are borrowing trouble of other sorts to mix powders and liquids from different
companies. There will be no help from either company if you need tech support.
No one will want the liability from mixing it up.
Hope you get it figured out as I think that Entity is the best I have used in
14 years.

Subject: NailTech:: Entity

Hi everyone, I have switched from CND to Entity. I love the feel of the ac. It
is so smooth and easy to file, but I have been having some issues with breaks
or cracks that I did not with CND. Seems to crack in the middle of the nail all
the way across. Which is can be very painful and even crack the natural nail.
I hardly ever seen this with CND. I know a lot of you use Entity. Do you have
any ideas of what I am doing wrong? I am starting to think it is just not as
strong and with winter here they will crack easier. I have purchased a large
amount of Entity liquid and need to buy some more powder. I am
considering going back to CND and using their powder with Entity liquid until
it is used up. I can't waste it. Please tell me your opinions on this, I would
appreciate any help.
