Sarah, Do not feel silly with that question at all! The look of the powder will depend on the color powder used. If you use a clear or natural, you will not see any suspension. I could be wrong, but the only thing I would think would look suspended would be your glitters and items embedded in the gels. Many of us in this list did this for years before it became available from some of the companies. I do it occasionally with clients--I only have two in gel now and one I do the powder with resin.
