Hiya Peeps, I hope this finds all of yall well and in great spirits! Well I finally received my MINX order. Can't remember who posted "they have great customer service" well they really do. I was finally contacted by one of the founders and she worked it hard to get my "lost in the mail" order out to me. They both came finally. I am having a blast with these nail coverings. I have them on me now for 3 days goin into my 4th and I have to say..they are not chipping at all. I see a tiny tiny space where it looks like it shrunk from the free edge. You know..this gold is so shiny that you can't tell at all that it has shrunk! (I have pics of it on my facebook page no sign up required - http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=58566499000 So...with the marketing cap on I set about to find ways to let Houston know that I am offering Minx! I called a friend who is on a "street team" for the loacl press. They go to the night clubs and meet people and takes lots of pics that are later put in the paper. I offered two of the girls free sets if they would just had my cards out every time they get asked! They said yes! So on Thur I will Bling them out. One GOLD and one Silver. That should do it right there. My listing just went up on Minx website for salon locator's and I received 3 calls today for appointments. That's exciting. We have a local e-newsletter called TIDBITS....I wrote to them hoping they found my new service a news worthy tidbit........ My neighbor works at a hip hop bar and I banged on her door and offered her a free set if she would pass my cards out too. She said yup. (oh she has some horrible acrylic platypus looking scoops on.....lol for nails...she said she needed to have them fixed first. WHEW! Sent 2 emails to the style editor of our Houston Chronicle news paper...(keepin my fingers crossed) The last is I created a site.....called ToeMinx. http://www.siteskins.net/toeminx/ This is a new do it yourself site that I used called siteskins. I love the ease of it. The "skins" are cooler than what I use at vista print. I actually got to speak to one of the owners today for 30 mins while he was very helpful pointing out key points of navigation. Im on the lowest plan 5 pages with all the bells for $7.95 a mth, When I upgrade to the unlimited my URL will read www.toeminx.com instead of what it reads now. I added music to my site cuz it was so much fun. I may have gone over board but I like multi cultural fusion like sounds. Yall will have to be my critics.
