*shaking my head and smiling*

We have all had one of these! What you did was perfect! You cannot CUT
anything! That is beyond the scope of your license! Not to mention a law suit
waiting to happen!

You did all you can do!

Subject: NailTech:: The Worst Toes Ever....

Okay Tech's, this is my first posting. I have commented on several but never
posted. So here goes..I had an elderly lady that came in today for a
mani/pedi. She told me that she has some problems with her toes and so I
told her that I would help her out in every way that I could. OMG..let me
just say that I had never seen anything like what she put up on that foot
rest. Total mess. I don't think that she had ever had a pedicure in her
life. Toes shaped every which way but straight and the deepest ridges that I
have ever seen. She told me that she likes her toe nails really short and
after looking at them I told her that her hyponychium was really high. I
then advised her that I would trim down as far as I could but due to
hyponychium, I was limited to how far I could trim. Okay..we got past that
part and she then advised me that she had several corns.several is an
understatement!!!!!!!!!! I asked if she had seen a podiatrist for the
excessive amount that she had.bless her heart. (we say that a lot in the
south).lolol She said that her Dr. had told her that he would have to break
all of her toes and re-set them in order for her to get relief from the
corns..cuz of the shape causes friction, so CORNS, well, I never! Have ya'll
ever????? She then proceeded to ask me to cut out all of the corns.I advised
her that I would smooth them best that I could using my exfoliation methods
and some product to soften but I would not cut them out. She became very
upset with me stating that the was the reason that she came in for her
service cuz she's heading to Chicago and will be on her feet a lot. I
advised her of what I could do to make her as comfortable as possible and
suggested that she have regular pedicures to help her condition and
recommended Dr. Sholls medicated corn pads and cushions.

So..what do ya'll think?????
