If you look at the work coming out of Puerto Rico and other areas of South America you will see this type of nail often. This company's website has the "California Flair" in many of thier photos. I agree, I don't like it. I won't do it. But there are MANY techs doing this by request from their clients. For the longest time the universal shape of nails was square. I do find it interesting all the different shapes coming from different parts of the world right now. This look coming from S. America, the Stilettos and the Edge being very popular in the the Eastern European countries. Still seeing soft pink and whites in the rest of Europe with some of the colored acrylics catching on. And the US still mostly (not all) doing the square with colored tips or pink and whites. In the competition arena, Asia seems to be getting away from the Tom Holcomb narrow nails( which I personally love!) and they are doing them a bit (a lot!!) wider. Not sure if it's because they are easier to do, so the trend started heading in that direction or what the deal is. So what will be next? LOL :) Cindy D. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
