Sherry, I buy IBD color gels, online, because I can't get them at the local beauty supply. If I CAN get them there, of course I buy them there. I'd never HEARD of ESN gel polish, till I came across it online....turns out to be one of my favorites. I have never checked to see where these products are made. I don't recall ever seeing that type of information given. Anyone else know what country(s) make our gels? When I thought about it, there is so much available out there in nail land, how can each supply house afford to carry everything. I generally buy my basics at the local supply house.....and I do LOTS of online ordering to get what the local shop doesn't carry. Gel enhancements are much different than gel polish. You get very little added strenth with gel polish. You can't build with it. You need to have a builder gel inorder to create longer, stronger enhancements. Unless the natural nails are strong, they need to be filed short when using gel polish. But, before applying the gel polish, you must lay down a thin layer of clear gel, because the gel polish (because of the color pigment) won't adhere to natural nails. We just got in some Azcents. Don't think I spelled that right. The other tech that I work with is going to charge $40.00 to put this on natural nails. I don't know if that will go over. Why not just have gel nails then. How much do you guys charge to apply gel polish over ac or gel nails?
