That was me,  never found out for sure if it was a stone,  but I had passed a
large clot of something,  then the pain subsided,  but even now 8 months
later.  I have this strange sensation feeling like an electrical surge,  last
about a second,  but comes in waves,  feels like I am going to pee,  but it
usually is after I have emptied my bladder.  It is actually happening to me
right now as I am typing this.  Not really pain,  but uncomfortable.  They
never found anything in my urine either.

Barb,
I feel bad for you. I had this happen but had the kidney infection with it. It
takes time for the irritation to go away. I know it seems horrible to still
have the pain/burning, but it WILL subside.
Be careful how much you are doing to get rid of it. The cranberry supplements
did not work for me. Cranberry juice is good but is not going to cure it.
Whoever suggested the stone could be right on. Did they X-ray you?
I remember that that pain was very uncomfortable. I had the e-coli too. That is
normal with this infection.
If that is what you have, you will start to feel fine real soon!
Hugs,
Lynnette

You can also get some Uristat to help with the pain and frequency urges.  But
be sure to go back to the doc and get another culture.  They may not have given
you the correct antibiotic for the infection you have.  There are different
strains of germs and you might need a different type of antibiotic.

Hope you feel better soon!
