No, the Man-Q queen that helped me so much, Rhonda, explained the steps. But after I apply the first coat and cure, I take a glob of gel, put it on the nail, and then dip my brush into the glitter and start applying. Of course then I cure for 2 minutes, then apply over the top and cure again. I really think it is a personal choice and which ever is easier for you.
