That's what I thought I previously read, thank you, Marsha!

Yes Lisa! But, if you are using soakable or soak off gel polish, and expect to
be able to soak off the entire application when the time comes, you need to
use soakable clear gel first and a soakable topcoat as well. You can file them
off, but that sort of defeats their purpose, I think!

Someone may have asked this already, but do you have to put down a clear gel on
a natural nail before the gel polish?  Do you put a clear gel layer on top of
the color as well?

I am not positive about using gel polish on acrylic.....but I think you
wouldn't need a clear gel between the ac and gel polish (I do only gel nails).
Nailite makes excellent gel polish. I have clients who love OPI colors and will
also love the soakable gel because they don't have to wear "fake" nails inorder
to keep polish on their natural nails. I think the $5 charge for gel polish is
reasonable. Have fun with your new gel polish!

Marsha,

Do you apply the gel polish right on top of a roughed up acrylic nail or do
you first put down a clear gel layer before the gel polish? I made my order. I
can't wait to get it. That's cheaper then OPI polish and it will be dry when
the client leaves. I think I will charge $5.00 more.

I didn't understand them right. You only have to order 12 or more to get them
at $3.75 each. Better deal! They said they have over 72 colors.

I just talked to Nailite. They said if you order all 50 colors of their gel
polish you can get them for $3.75 each. That is a great deal. Thinking about
it. Not sure. I have read a lot of you use their gel polish. I would mainly be
using them over ac. What do you all think? Do you think they would not chip
during the two to three weeks between fills? Thanks for any opinions.
