I just wanted to fill you in on the latest updates for the "2nd Annual
Nail Tech Networking Event of the Smokies" and we've got some good
news.....Minx nail products has agreed to send Athena Elliott all the
way from Texas to demo for us (just waiting for her bio to arrive and
then I'll add Minx to the lineup)!!!

Also, Amy Becker is finalizing her plans to hold a private gel class
(I think she told me) on the Monday after the Event. As soon as I have
all the details I will let you know!

You are cordially invited to attend the "2nd Annual Nail Tech
Networking Event of the Smokies"! Combining the best of both worlds by
mixing the aspects of a big show with the intimacy of private
classes.

That means no rushing and more techs can get nails demo'd by the BEST!
Each guest receives a goodie bag of products, plus there will be many
drawings for door prizes! Photos of the 1st Event are located on my

Goal: to learn as much as we can and make future business contacts/
friends!

Cost (includes lunch):
January- February are "early bird specials"= $35
March-April are "mid-life crisis"= $45
May-June are "better late than never"= $55

***Option: some nail companies/educators are offering private nail
classes on Saturday the 27th or on Monday the 29th. This will enable
guests to expand on their education by turning the 1 day Event into
possibly a 2 or even 3 day educational extravaganza! These private
classes are limited in size and cost is determined by the individual
nail companies/educators, so please contact them for further
details.***

Science of Pedicures" will enlighten us to the exciting new
certifications for "Advanced Nail Tech" (ANT) & "Medical Nail

3) Darlene Sammons (Program Director for Esthetics/Nail Technology,
Miller-Motte Technical College)- this AEFM certified educator will
demo how to handle electric files, select drill bits, sanitize bits, &
offer hands-on training in proper electric file methods. When properly
trained, e-files will NOT damage the natural nail, & will reduce
stress on the techs most valued tool.....their hands. Bring all your
questions and concerns!

4) Tammy Warner (Akzentz gel)- remember Tammy's stiletto nails from
last year? Learn how to create them yourself using colored gel or
learn how to create P&W gels that look natural. Plus, ask her about
