I agree with you Amy. Aside from the LOL, I type it all out. 
It is professional and does not have the occasional texter try to figure out 
what is being said. Leave that to the vanity license plates. Also, be sure your 
spelling is correct. I hyperventilate when I read run on sentences!!!

I never use all the abbreviations with anyone.  I actually kinda hate
them :D  I type everything out, always.  But that is just me :)
